MEET KIM
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I have lived in Knoxville for the last 34 years and am proud to call Knoxville home. My husband and I have raised our two children here in the Bearden community and they are both graduates from West High School and UT Knoxville.
I have a heart for public service and have served on various non-profit executive boards. I currently work in private education as a teacher, financial officer, and serve on the school board at New Hope Christian School. With my experience, I will bring fiscally conservative knowledge to our city budget. I firmly believe that our tax revenue must be spent wisely and focused on the essential needs of our city residents. With high crime and record murder happening in our city, I am committed to fully supporting our front-line workers and our men and women police officers.
Our city has many issues and many needs. We must all work together in a spirit of unity to not only address these issues but solve them. Knoxville is a great place to live and I am dedicated to bringing common sense judgement and good values to our local government.
Finally, please get out and vote. Your voice and your opinion matters. I ask you to vote for me in this upcoming district 2 election, early voting August 11th to 26th and Election Day August 31st. I will need your vote again in the citywide election, early voting October 13th to 28th and Election Day November 2nd. Please reach out to me at 865-387-9815 or electkimsmith@gmail.com with any questions or concerns you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Kim Smith
